With a range of different female caricatures littered across our social pages and a hash tag that we position proudly #2BlondesDigital – it may not be a great surprise that Plus 1 Digital is an agency headed by two exuberant, blonde women. (Find out more about our 2 Blondes here )
The reason that we are bringing this to your attention is because over the last few months we have been to a number of networking events for agencies in the capital and have noticed a distinct lack of female attendees. As a result we find ourselves bringing this up and we have become a bit like a broken record, asking everyone that will listen “where are all the women?”
And so ladies where are you? We know you are out there, we know there are many women running successful agencies in the capital, so maybe we are missing something. Are these “beers after work” events more targeted to men? Are there specific networking events that we are missing out on and need to be part of. We will be honest, we don’t really believe in women only events but we want to know where you all are.
